An order to the Moresi foundry from Mr. Collins on behalf of the Oak Bluff Planting and Manufacturing company. The order consists of four cast iron plates with drilled holes for flat head screws, and Collins specifies that this job needs to be expedited.

The second half of a letter from P. E. Moore to a friend of his. The writing is difficult to read in some places. Moore writes about what he has been up to, detailing his visit to a "a most lovely place." Moreover, he writes that he will come to visit his friend soon.

A letter from W.E. Hawkins to a printing company, concerning a mistake on his part involving a book he recently published. He was accidentally overpaid, so to fix the issue, Hawkins offers to pay one of the fees immediately.

Another letter from Dr. Childs to Mr. Skiles. Childs is writing Skiles to order for 400 ft of pine wood that's 1x10 or 1x12 and 12ft long on one side. He also inquires about the status of his wagon, and requests for Skiles to call him on the phone as soon as it arrives.

A letter to the Moresi Foundry from W.A.(?) Haas, requesting for the foundry to take a look at a centrifugal he ordered because the spindle does not fit properly in the box it needs to be in. Moreover there also seems to be an issue with the machine's buttons.

A letter from Dr. J.S. Branch to Dr. W.E. Hawkins. It is a reply to a previous letter about a business deal. Branch is anxious to sell his interest of a lot of land, so he requests for Hawkins to buy it from him. However, he stresses that this is a limited time offer as there are other parties interested in his shares.

Another letter from Dr. Banch which appears to be related to the situation in G-008. In it, Branch details how he and Hawkins bought a lot of land together to build a drug store there, but this plan fell through. Now, Branch is trying to get the money that Hawkins still owes him before taxes are due.

The second half of a letter from W.A. Quirk to someone he knows well. It seems in a previous conversation the recipient asked Hawkins about plant nurseries, and in this letter, Hawkins reccomends one ran by Old Yancy. Hawkins then wishes the recipient and thier family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

A page of a letter from Dr. Quirk to Dr. Hawkins. Quirk wrote it in response to the aftermath of a weather event that broke the levies in his area. Quirk informs Hawkins of the damage the flooding caused and the impact this had on his ranch.

The first page of a letter from Dr. Quirk to Dr. Hakwins. In it, Quirk expresses his frustration that he has not received the lumber he ordered weeks ago, and he asks Hawkins to send word to a person named Chappelle to get the balance for the lumber ordered.

The second page of H-002. On this page, Quirk continues to write about his frustration with how long it is taking to get the lumber he ordered. He needs the lumber to build a new silo(?) to store his corn crop, which has been flourishing. Quirk also laments that his cotton crop is the poorest it has ever been.

The third page of H-002. On this page, Quirk tells Hawkins about how he and his family have been doing. Quirk laments that he has not had a break in a while due to the amount of sick people in his area. He also writes about his daughter(?), Belle, who has been growing well and taking piano lessons.

Quirk continues to vent to Hawkins about his trouble with getting the lumber he ordered from Chappelle. Quirk writes that he had the carpenter hired for the project set up the frame of the building, and now is waiting for the remainder of the lumber.

The first page of a letter from Dr. Quirk's daughter, Belle, to her uncle, referred to as "Nunk." On this page, she greets her uncle and jokes that he probably did not expect a letter until Christmas. She then writes about how she found a receipt that her uncle was asking for. She says that she gave it and some letters to her papa to send back to her uncle.

While there, as her parents were away on business, Belle went to multiple plays that starred the actress, Julia Marlow. These plays included "Hamlet" and "Romeo and Juliet." She then writes about attending an event at the city park to see Miss Moisant and her monoplane.

The third page of H-022. On this page, Belle continues to write about seeing Miss Moisant and her monoplane before changing the subject. Her uncle's family recently welcomed a baby girl into the world, so Belle asks about the baby's name. Belle then shifts the subject again to mention that Mr. Haas came to visit, but she just missed him. However, she then ran into him later when horseback riding with her friends.

It is about the condition of Madame Perrodin since she has an illness. Acting in M. Certrou's(?) place, Dupaquier reccomends a medicine that Mme. Perrodin must take 12 drops of a day.

The bottom of the page has a transcription of the signatures of the witnesses, Joshua Hayes and Thomas Laughlin, the parties involved, Sophia Hayes, E.L. Harman, Mary E. Hayes (wife of Harman), and Uriah Green, and the Public Notary, E. Andrews. There is a note at the very bottom of the transcription from Andrews, certifying that it is an accurate copy of the original.

There is a note at the very bottom of the transcription from Andrews, certifying that it is an accurate copy of the original.
