Usage Policy and Agreement As a patron of the Center for Louisiana Studies Archive, I agree to abide by all copyright laws as they apply to my research, including intellectual rights, privacy of individuals, and federal and state laws. I agree to abide by all donor restrictions placed on the items and that this material will not be misquoted or misrepresented in subsequent audio recordings or publications. I also agree that these reproductions are solely for my personal use, and I will not resell or donate them. I will give full and proper citation for any materials used from the Center for Louisiana Studies Archive in all presentations and publications or my work, following appropriate professional guidelines for the research material. All requests are filled on a first-come, first served basis. I understand that my request for archive materials has a standard two-week minimum turnaround time, which may be extended. All reproductions are handled by Center for Louisiana Studies Archive staff and are dependent on physical condition of the item(s) requested. Permission requests for publishing and public use of archive material must be submitted in writing and will be considered on an individual basis. Such requests will require a fee based on the specific reproduction request. Copyright Notice: The individual requesting reproductions expressly assumes the responsibility for compliance with all pertinent provisions of the Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq. The patron further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Center for Louisiana Studies and its staff in connection with any disputes arising from the Copyright Act, over the reproduction of material at the request of the patron.
